LLC «Stromizmeritel» participated in the Russia-Africa 2023 Summit, a significant event hosted at the prestigious Expoforum in St. Petersburg from the 27th to the 28th of July. This is the second forum dedicated to relations and development of partnership between Russia and the states of the African continent, in which our company took part.
The summit served as a platform for numerous strategic encounters, notably including dialogues with distinguished delegations from the Republic of Burundi and eminent representatives from Algerian businesses. These interactions paved the way for profound discussions, focused on nurturing collaborative frameworks between our Russian enterprise and the burgeoning businesses of Africa.
A particularly momentous dialogue unfolded during our meeting with the delegation from the Republic of Burundi. The deliberations centered on the comprehensive realization of a visionary project: the establishment of a cutting-edge glass container manufacturing facility in Bujumbura, capable of producing 30 tons of glass batch per day. These deliberations culminated in the formulation of a memorandum of cooperation involving not only Stromizmeritel LLC but also the MGE Sprl company and the esteemed government of the Republic of Burundi. These deliberations outlined a strategic roadmap, delineating key directions for future collaboration. Furthermore, the contours of this collaboration encompassed the development of trade networks, the cultivation of robust investment relationships, and the nurturing of a profound industrial partnership between Stromizmeritel and the esteemed Development Agency of Burundi.
The tangible outcomes of these profound engagements and agreements provide a stable bedrock for the forthcoming expansion of partnerships and collaborations, effectively extending the frontiers of cooperation to encompass both the East and West African business landscapes.
